HSE & Quality

In oil and gas transport, safety is the product. Our HSE system is aligned with ADNOC standards and built into how we plan, drive and monitor every journey — because a clean record is what keeps you and us in business.

Our HSE commitment

Decent Way operates an HSE-first culture aligned with ADNOC health, safety and environment standards and the principles of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The goal is simple and absolute: every load delivered without harm to people, assets or the environment. Safety is not delegated to a department — it is shared by drivers, dispatchers, supervisors and management together, and it is the first measure by which we judge a job well done.

Drivers, training & defensive driving

Our drivers are the front line of safety. Heavy-vehicle drivers hold ADSD defensive-driving certification and are inducted into client and field-site HSE requirements before they work in restricted zones. Dangerous-goods movements are handled by drivers trained for ADR-classified cargo. Ongoing toolbox talks, fatigue awareness and refresher training keep standards current rather than letting certification become a one-off box-tick.

  • ADSD-certified heavy-vehicle drivers
  • ADR dangerous-goods driver training
  • Client and field-site HSE induction
  • Regular toolbox talks and refresher training
  • Fatigue-management and hours controls

Journey management & monitoring

Every significant movement is planned, not improvised. Journey management covers route selection, approved hazmat routing, rest stops, weather and timing, with high-risk trips reviewed before dispatch. Once a truck rolls, IVMS GPS telematics give live visibility of speed, route adherence and harsh-driving events, so deviations are seen and addressed rather than discovered after the fact. The same data feeds the reports we share with contract clients for their own HSE oversight.

  • Pre-trip journey plans for high-risk movements
  • Approved routing for dangerous goods
  • Live IVMS monitoring of speed and route
  • Harsh-event alerts and driver coaching
  • HSE reporting available to contract clients

Incident prevention & emergency response

Prevention comes first: planned preventive maintenance, pre-trip vehicle checks and load-securing discipline remove the common causes of incidents before a journey begins. When the cargo is hazardous, our tankers carry spill-response equipment and our crews are trained to act. And because no plan is complete without a fallback, our recovery capability stands ready to manage breakdowns or incidents quickly and safely, limiting exposure for everyone on the road.

Frequently asked questions

Is your HSE system aligned with ADNOC requirements?

Yes. Our HSE management is aligned with ADNOC health, safety and environment standards and the principles of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Drivers are ADSD-certified, journeys are planned and IVMS-monitored, and hazmat work runs under Civil Defence permits. Documentation is available for prequalification.

How do you manage the risk of dangerous-goods transport?

Hazmat movements use ADR-trained drivers, approved Civil Defence routes, tankers carrying spill-response equipment and pre-trip journey planning. Routes, timing and rest are reviewed before dispatch and the vehicle is monitored live via IVMS throughout.

Can you provide safety performance reporting for our contracts?

Yes. For contract clients we can share journey reports and HSE summaries drawn from our IVMS data, supporting your own safety oversight, KPI tracking and audits across the duration of the work.
