01 What is at Bab

The Bab field is one of ADNOC Onshore's foundational assets — a long-producing oil and gas reservoir whose output feeds the nearby Habshan-Bab processing complex. The field runs well clusters, gathering networks and gas-handling facilities, all needing a continuous supply chain: diesel for pumps and generators, process and treatment chemicals for gas handling, water for operations, and a steady flow of equipment and spares for drilling and maintenance. Its tight integration with Habshan makes it one of the busiest field destinations on the corridor.

02 The nearest major field

At roughly 140km from Musaffah, Bab is the closest of the major ADNOC fields to our base, reached on the well-developed inland corridor toward Habshan. The shorter distance is a real operational advantage: faster mobilisation, easy same-day round trips, and the ability to respond quickly to urgent or short-notice supply needs. For routine programmes it also means more deliveries per truck per day, which keeps your supply costs efficient.

03 Cleared, tracked and HSE-first

Bab is a secured ADNOC Onshore field, so drivers and vehicles need valid CICPA passes to enter. Our crews are CICPA-cleared and ADSD-certified, the fleet is ADNOC-approved and IVMS-monitored, and any hazmat or chemical load runs under Civil Defence permits on approved routes with the right ADR paperwork. With current documentation and an HSE-first operation, loads clear field security cleanly.
