Heavy Equipment & Project Cargo
Decent Way plans and executes complex project moves — rig relocations, oversized modules and multi-unit convoys — with route-surveyed haulage, the right trailer mix and a single point of coordination from start to finish.

Project moves we coordinate
Project cargo is rarely a single truck. It is a sequence of oversized, heavy and time-critical units that must arrive at site in the right order. We scope the whole scope of work, assemble the trailer mix — lowbeds, flatbeds, extendables — and run it as one coordinated operation rather than a series of disconnected trips.
- Drilling rig relocations and rig-package moves
- Oversized vessels, columns and process modules
- Long pipe, structural steel and pre-assembled racks
- Cranes, gensets and heavy static equipment
- Ultra-heavy 100 t+ units on modular / SPMT transport (by arrangement)
- Over-height and out-of-gauge loads on step-deck and extendable trailers
- Multi-unit convoys delivered in build sequence
Engineering the move
Every project move starts with the route, not the truck. We survey clearances, bridge ratings and turning circles, calculate axle loads and the lift and securing method, and secure abnormal-load permits and escorts before a single unit mobilises. This planning is what keeps an oversized convoy safe, legal and on its delivery window.
- Route survey, clearance checks and axle-load calculations
- Abnormal-load permits, escorts and night-movement planning
- Lifting, jacking and load-securing methodology
- Convoy sequencing and on-site offload coordination
- ADSD-certified drivers and HSE-first operating discipline
Built for the oilfield and industrial sector
Much of our project work runs the Musaffah-Ruwais-Habshan corridors and out to fields like ASAB and Bu Hasa, supporting the capital projects driving ADNOC’s growth — Ruwais LNG, TA’ZIZ and field developments across Al Dhafra. CICPA-cleared crews and vehicles, ADNOC supplier registration and a locally based fleet let us deliver project cargo right onto restricted sites with full compliance.
Frequently asked questions
Can you manage a full rig move?
Yes. We coordinate complete rig relocations as a single operation — assembling the trailer mix, sequencing the units, arranging permits and escorts, and running the convoy to site in the right build order with one point of contact throughout.
How do you handle oversized and abnormal loads?
Each oversized move begins with a route survey for clearances, bridge ratings and turning circles, followed by abnormal-load permits, escort and night-movement planning, and a documented lift and securing method before mobilisation.
Do you deliver project cargo to ADNOC project sites?
Yes. With CICPA-cleared crews and vehicles and ADNOC supplier registration, we deliver heavy equipment and project cargo onto restricted field and project sites across Al Dhafra, including the Ruwais, Habshan, ASAB and Bu Hasa corridors.
Can you move loads heavier than 100 tonnes?
Yes, by arrangement. Beyond our multi-axle lowbeds, ultra-heavy and out-of-gauge units are moved on hydraulic modular / SPMT transport and step-deck configurations, engineered and permitted for the specific load. Share the weight, dimensions and route and we will scope the right method.
