Transport to Sahil
Sahil is a conventional ADNOC Onshore crude oil field set deep in the Al Dhafra desert, part of the Sahil-Asab-Shah (SAS) cluster. Decent Way runs CICPA-cleared fuel tankers, water bowsers and equipment trailers to Sahil on the long inland route from our Musaffah base.

What is at Sahil
Sahil is a conventional ADNOC Onshore crude oil field — producing crude with associated gas — set deep in the Al Dhafra desert south of Abu Dhabi. It forms part of the Sahil-Asab-Shah (SAS) cluster within ADNOC Onshore's South East asset, with the neighbouring Asab plant acting as the regional processing and gathering hub. Running well clusters, flowlines and gas-handling facilities across a remote lease, a field like Sahil needs a dependable inbound supply chain: fuel for rigs and generators, drilling fluids and chemicals, water for operations, and a steady flow of equipment and spares.
- Diesel and fuel for rigs, generators and fleet
- Drilling fluids, chemicals and cement/consumables
- Potable and industrial water for operations
- Equipment, spares and project/expansion cargo (pipe, wellhead and flowline materials)
A remote SAS-cluster field under expansion
Sahil sits roughly 180km from Musaffah — an approximate, geography-based distance — an interior production site reached by heading deep inland along the southern oilfield roads. This is not a coastal terminal but genuine desert long-haul. As part of the Sahil-Asab-Shah cluster, much of its output is gathered and processed through the Asab hub, and the field has moved through successive expansions, with further phases adding crude capacity and associated-gas handling. That build-out means project and expansion cargo alongside day-to-day supply: pipe, wellhead and flowline materials, and equipment for the growing facilities. We plan these runs as managed long-haul with fuelled, well-maintained trucks, driver-hour and rest management, and IVMS tracking.
Cleared, tracked and HSE-first
Sahil is a secured ADNOC Onshore field, so drivers and vehicles need valid CICPA passes to enter. Our crews are CICPA-cleared and ADSD-certified, the fleet is ADNOC-approved and IVMS-monitored, and any hazmat or chemical load runs under Civil Defence permits on approved routes with the right ADR paperwork. With current documentation and an HSE-first operation suited to remote-field work, loads clear field security cleanly.
- CICPA passes for drivers and vehicles
- ADNOC-approved fleet, ADSD-certified drivers
- IVMS GPS monitoring on every unit
- Civil Defence hazmat permits and approved routing
Frequently asked questions
How far is Sahil from Musaffah?
Sahil is roughly 180km inland from our Musaffah base — an approximate, geography-based figure — reached via the southern oilfield roads deep into Al Dhafra. We run it as a planned desert long-haul with driver-hour management and IVMS tracking.
Can you deliver fuel and drilling chemicals to Sahil?
Yes. We run diesel and fuel for rigs and generators, drilling fluids and ADR-classified chemicals, water, and equipment or expansion cargo to Sahil. Hazmat loads move in compliant units under Civil Defence permits and approved routing.
Are your drivers cleared for the Sahil field?
Yes. Our drivers and vehicles hold valid CICPA passes for the secured ADNOC Onshore field, are ADSD-certified and IVMS-tracked. Clearance documentation is available for prequalification.
