What is at Shah

Shah is one of the most technically demanding gas developments in the UAE — a high-sulphur (sour) gas field operated through Al Hosn Gas, with major processing trains that strip out hydrogen sulphide and recover sulphur, sales gas and condensate. Sour-gas operations require specialised treatment chemicals, large volumes of sulphur and chemical product movement, diesel and water for the remote plant and camp, and equipment and spares for one of the most complex facilities in the country. Much of this cargo is dangerous-goods classified.

  • Equipment, spares and project cargo for the gas trains

A long-haul desert route

Shah lies roughly 270km from Musaffah deep in southern Al Dhafra — one of the longest field runs we operate. This is serious remote-desert haulage: extended distances with limited services, high temperatures, and field roads at the far end. We plan it as a managed long-haul with well-maintained, fuelled trucks, strict driver-hour and rest scheduling, journey-management planning and continuous IVMS tracking, so dispatch and your operations team always know where each load is on the route.

Built for sour-gas hazmat

Sour-gas logistics demand strong dangerous-goods capability, and that is core to our operation. We carry ADR-classified loads under Abu Dhabi Civil Defence permits on approved routes, with certified DG drivers, spill-response equipment and trained crews. Shah is a secured Al Hosn / ADNOC facility, so drivers and vehicles are CICPA-cleared and ADSD-certified, on an ADNOC-approved, IVMS-monitored fleet — the full compliance stack a sour-gas operator screens for.
