01 What is at Al Dabb'iya

Al Dabb'iya is a crude oil field operated by ADNOC Onshore, developed as part of the North East Bab (NEB) programme alongside the Rumaitha and Shanayel fields. It runs cluster wells connected by gathering pipelines that feed central processing and export lines. A working field of this kind depends on a steady inbound supply chain: diesel for rigs and generators, drilling and production chemicals, water for operations, and a continuous flow of equipment, spares and project cargo for its development wells.

02 An environmentally sensitive coastal field

What sets Al Dabb'iya apart is its setting. The field lies in a low-lying, shallow coastal zone southwest of Abu Dhabi, with wells spread across natural and artificial islands and the Al Dabb'iya peninsula, linked by pipelines running through shallow water. This is an unusual "coastal onshore" environment, and it remains under active NEB-phase development drilling. Working here calls for careful routing, disciplined spill-prevention and HSE practices, and close coordination with site teams so deliveries reach island and near-shore facilities cleanly and on schedule.

03 Cleared, tracked and HSE-first

Al Dabb'iya is a secured ADNOC Onshore field, so drivers and vehicles need valid CICPA passes to enter. Our crews are CICPA-cleared and ADSD-certified, the fleet is ADNOC-approved and IVMS-monitored, and any hazmat or chemical load runs under Civil Defence permits on approved routes with the right ADR paperwork. In a sensitive coastal setting, current documentation and an HSE-first operation keep loads clearing field security cleanly.
