What is at Barakah

Barakah is the UAE's nuclear energy plant on the Al Dhafra coast, a large operating power complex with multiple units and an extensive supporting infrastructure. A facility of this scale and security profile is a continuous destination for industrial logistics: heavy plant and machinery, transformers, generators and over-dimensional components on lowbed trailers, structural steel and equipment on flatbeds, plus diesel, water and general supplies for the site and its support operations. The emphasis here is on safe, precise, well-planned heavy and project cargo movement.

  • Heavy plant, transformers and generators on lowbed trailers
  • Structural steel and equipment on flatbed trailers
  • Over-dimensional and project cargo up to 80 tonnes (heavier by arrangement)
  • Diesel, water and general supplies for site support

The western heavy-haul route

Barakah sits roughly 250km west of Musaffah along the Al Dhafra coastal corridor. For heavy and over-dimensional loads this is a route that needs proper planning — axle-load assessment, route surveys, permits and, where required, escorts for wide or tall cargo. We plan each project move end to end, matching the load to the right lowbed or flatbed configuration and scheduling the run so oversize cargo travels under the correct authorisations and arrives ready for on-site offloading.

Heavy-cargo capability and compliance

Our heavy-haulage fleet handles loads up to 80 tonnes on lowbed trailers, with heavier moves arranged under permit, operated by ADSD-certified heavy-vehicle drivers experienced in oversize and project cargo. Every unit is IVMS-monitored and the operation is HSE-first. Barakah is a nuclear energy plant under FANR oversight, not an ADNOC/CICPA site, so access follows the client's site-specific security regime rather than CICPA, and our drivers and vehicles meet whatever clearances the operator requires. We coordinate with your project and site teams on access windows, lifting arrangements and offloading so high-value cargo arrives safely and on plan.
